I set up a MOVE waypoint with a diver team on an assault boat. Made it to the waypoint and gave a dismount order. They responded Understood, but did nothing.
TRANSPORT UNLOAD waypoint took them to the shore and threw them out, which is fine for infantry... but divers? cmon now. I guess I'll drop them out of a helicopter for consistency.

Treehugger, it's definitely not unrealistic. On the range, we practice transition tactics all the time. I generally use a single point sling on my battle rifle, so essentially I 'drop' my gun and draw my sidearm in a fluid motion, and moving while doing so is a must.

Real World Issue. You have .5" to 3" of elevation between your optics and the bore of your rifle, depending on rifle/optics/mount (Ruger 10/22 vs AK47?)

I think 15-50m would be a nice spread, considering a mortar strike of 4-6 rounds puts all of them in exactly. the. same. spot.

I just had this happen to me as well. I haven't seen them half-stuck yet, I lose them completely. I've had it happen a few times on rougher terrain, but this guy was on flat ground.
Kind of sucks when your mission is to clear OPFOR from an area.
