Note: You are just holding your breath, that is all the hold breath key does. Your arm muscles are still relaxed. To hold them steady you must move your mouse and aim the gun.
Comparing this (Not held breath) http://a.pomf.se/agynfx.webm
to this (Held breath) http://a.pomf.se/fcnpxk.webm
There is a massive difference, and that is without even attempting to hold your arms steady.
TBH ammo count should be replaced with ACE-style "Mag is heavy/medium/light" when you load, with a Red Orchestra-style mag check.
Or maybe an ammo count system on the weapon itself.

Very good suggestion. I will never play with blur in video games, ever, but bloom and other effects I enable on a case-by-case basis. Cannot do this in ArmA3.
A custom option on the drop down that lets us choose the overall quality (ie: Very High (Custom)), and brings up checkboxes for which effects to enable (the Custom part) would be very nice.
@SGTIce: Many people do not play with AI now. Make the affects it has on AI known, and let people use the option at their own will.
Seems kind of silly to not make this an option like everything else in the game.
The workaround is to enter freelook mode (2x left alt), but you have to remember to exit it if you switch to a gunner's position. It'd be nice if mouse defaulted to freelook while driving, but aiming when entering gun positions.
