John Woo reference?
I was playing the "See Altis" scenario from the workshop and I was toying around with the heli, blew up the Hunter and damaged almost everything else. Hopped in the Ifrit, and while the inside isn't DAMAGED, per say, all of the glass was visibly broken.
Upvoted. I have the same issue. It KILLS the campaign. It's not *just* a bug.
Made it eventually, if a bit different from what others are experiencing. I eventually got it to exit the letterbox, but I couldn't do anything scripted. The options in the scroll wheel were available, and some of them DID work (involving things with my character, like changing weapons, reloading, or changing ammo types) but it did NOTHING when I tried to open the strategic map. Saved, reloaded, same thing, with the bonus of a 4x longer than normal load time. Eventually, after trying this over and over and over, I accidentally saved after trying to open the map and didn't move away or do any other actions. When I loaded, it loaded into the strategic map! Of course, I used the scroll bar. Went black, then loaded Maxwell again with the view locked on the stars. I tried it again, and this time I manually scrolled the tactical map, selected the Tipping Point mission on the map itself, and launched it from there. Worked after that! Now if only AIs weren't nuts-OP.
Is it possible for someone to post a video with indicators on when to press space? All I'm getting is being stuck in letterbox, no ability to interact except shooting things, even following the instructions. Saving is not available in the menu options, either.
Perfect example is Tipping Point. I have yet to actually get past the mortar part, with enemy AI set to 0.00 and friendly AIs set to 1.00 on skill. The mortars are RIDICULOUSLY accurate about 50% of the time (I've tried this mission quite a few times now) with mortars dropping RIGHT on the remainders of the squad, with either only me or only me and one or two others alive because we lagged behind. Once the paratroopers drop, it's done for the rest of us. One or two shots at them, and then next thing I know, BOOM, dead. Around 200 M, I got SNIPED with a grenade launcher, as soon as I shot at him. Happened quite a lot during the campaign, actually. Enough that I pretty much just let my (much less effective, with a 100% greater skill level setting...) AI handle an area and absorb the bullets.
