Im having the same issues with a Razer Tiamat, and i used to have it with my Logitech G930. my sound glitch happens when i enter the vehicle for about 5 seconds. the glitch doesnt happen in third person.
Also Alex, reduce your audio sources by one level untill you no longer lag. only fix i have found for this so far
im now able to have my saitek x52, xbox controller and trackir all running at once now, before it was one or the other with the issue. i think its with arma polling the usb ports when you open controls which resets the connections. the reg edit didnt work for me. this did, so give it a go if you can and report back please?
found a ""fix"".
Push Windows Key,
Type Device Manager.
Click View, Devices by type.
Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers > Right click EACH DEVICE > Open the Power Management tab (if there isnt one, go to the next device) > Untick "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power", click ok > move to next one.
Then do the same for "Human Interface Devices", "Keyboards" and "Mice and other pointing devices"
this has fixed this issue and more for me. my keyboard used to keep turning off when i plugged a usb drive into my hub. all fixed now cause of this.
BTW I am using Start8 for the windows 7 style menu, but still opens the same thing
Image Tutorial: First 2 are same thing, but second one is for people who dont have Start8 or other programs that add the windows 7 start menu back into windows 8/8.1
