You can paint the wooden buttstock black, but not green. After painting it black you can't add green nor replace it with green.

The wooden handguard seems to be completely broken. You can't paint it black nor green.

Just to clarify:

Heli crash sites work perfectly fine on non-persistent server.

On persistent server they stay after restart with same loot as there was before. If they had been looted they stay empty even after restart. Only the wednesday hardreset (persistence reset) spawn them at a new location, with loot.

I hope this helps understanding the current system.

I would only like to know if this is intended or if this system will likely be changed at some point.

I also read, that you can loot the body, if you find the exact spot on the ground where it died, before sliding down. Tried that. Didn't work out for me.

I tried that two times. As soon as I logged back in, I saw the body sliding down again from it's initial dying position. One time I tried until the body disappeared, but I couldn't loot it.

Oh, and I forgot to mention. The last one is from stable 0.54, sorry about that

added another crash log

cleared all previous logs to shrink size and added annother 3 crash logs in "DayZ_5.7z". Note that at all 3 crashes no DayZ.mdmp was created. It just lagged extremly for 3 seconds and then closed and brought me to my desktop.
