Voted up;
It was only today I found the option to activate freelook in vehicles, which is great because I NEVER use the mouse to steer ground vehicles. Instead I'm always freelooking with Alt to better understand my surroundings.
However, the same is not true for air vehicles, where the mouse plays a key role in fine tuning movement and aiming. I'd prefer to use Alt in this case, to freelook when it's safe to do so.
A trivial change maybe, but would be very much appreciated to make the best use of freelook when in all vehicles. After all, freelook makes ArmA!

I agree, I dislike the walking animation - BUT - It's aesthetic, it doesn't change the game in any way in my opinion.
I think it's a bit petty saying, and I quote; "I don't think i want to get the game anymore if they don't change that". It's so minor, how could that affect your gameplay experience?
With the weapon attachment system they have in place, it would be great. I'll vote this up, I like the idea for it's simplicity - And it can only add to the game's already immersive experience.
I witnessed this online, thought the guy was dead - then suddenly we started driving!
Some of the lights are too dim to be of any help, same goes for the dashboard light IMO, I found the helicopter searchlight to be alright though.
As with all aesthetic changes, this shouldn't be considered urgent - But revised a bit later.

Okay, that would be amazing. +1 from me.
Very comprehensive, +1 for doing your research and sharing all your findings in such a helpful way.
Yup - Count me in on this. In ArmA I feel that the server you join can make all the difference to the gameplay experience. I'd love to favorite the best ones.
Yeah, SIX works, but ideally I'd like to use it in-game too.
This was in ArmA 2 as well, like you say ; Not a big deal, but immersion breaking.
I would like to see it fixed before release, but I don't mind at the moment, as there are more important things.
I'm suffering from pretty much the same thing ; The most common freezes for me are during the lobby screen, and a crash very shortly after joining a server.
I also have 2500+ ping on almost all servers, even those in my country (UK). I do not have these problems on ArmA II.
I've tried quite a few times on various servers - Always the same so far.
I'd like to be able to enjoy Depth of field and Ambient Occlusion without excessive motion blur. I do enjoy a small amount of blur, but in order to get the best of the other effects, I need to crank up the Post Processing.
