btw: it is possible to duplicate any item that one can use on other players while they have to stand still.

That is NOT what a weapon CLEANING kit is supposed to do.
I disagree. Empty mags should not drop to the ground by default.
It would be fine however if you could assign keys to two different reload mechanisms.
Normal relaod - empty mag goes to inventory, everything the same as before.
Speed reload - empty mag drops to the ground, allowing the survivor to put in the next mag a bit faster. Comes with the danger of not finding your mags or not being able to get them back in case you have to retreat.
I haven't searched for an already existing bug ID covering this but as far as i know there is a bug which causes an empty mag to disappear if you don't have enough space in your inventory in size and shape of the empty mag (two vertical) when reloading. the full and the empty mag do unfortunately do not simply get swapped.
havent tried this yet but i experienced this effect while walking down a stairwell. switching weapon made me run down the stairs for the time of the animation.
possible workaround: open and close inventory. this works for me when i encounter graphical issues after logging in.
Does a relog fix this?

Currently many of our features such as queued loading, combat logging timeout, etc... have been disabled as there is the possibility that they will cause additional strain on the central server. Once we know that we can handle the load we will begin implementing these. We do expect this will be a long process, and we'll be working with the community to identify effective ways to deal with this.
Works with the 40 bullet magazines as well.
