that did work, and I was able to confirm that I can reproduce the problem. approaching that pile form the north along the wall there is a spatial anomaly or something that kicks in about 3 feet before I am standing. Once this is done, you cannot immediate log in again. You wait the 59 seconds then you have to wait again in a wait that seems to not end. at least 2 minutes. This happened the first time too..
I will free myself again tomorrow. Thanks therealclown.

Note this often when droping a jacket to change to a new one, and the one I just took off, with all the stuff in my pockets that I want back, takes its sweet time to re appear so I can pull the stuff out of it.
I have not in serveral times had it not appear how ever. Just can take some time
All good points,
IRL you close one eye to protect your night vision when you expect a flash or brightness, this really decreases the night vision recovery time.
Also the periphery of you vision area is MORE sensitive in low light then the center of your view. More cones or rods or something. Try to model that in game...dare you
But this in game "expert tactic" of throwing a flare to blind NVG users, would also have a big impact on any normal night vision viewers who were not prepared for it.
I had turned off clouds at some point and only had terrible useless black, tried bumbling arround last night and noticed it off, turned it to nomral and it turned the moon on too! normal kind of usable darkeness! Been playing in the dark about 6 hours yesterday and today, seems to be a big moon but under those circumstances its fine.
Dark is just too dark in the game, Fix dark so its not blind dark and put a day cycle in that has an hour or so of dark in 4 hours.
Could this be video card dependent, Night as it is is useless to me. there is no hope of seeing anything in any version of night I have been exposed too in the last 2 days.I have an Nvidia card.
The single doors on the machine shop in Grishino are too high to enter
Mine was fine in the newest version until I added a suppressor, it was nearly transparent and didn't seem correctly attached to the end of the barrel
