After the new update, the night time got completly broke, not even a ray of light, its all pintch black. Not even the street lamps cast any light.
Guess they try to fix the gamma/brightness exploit because i tried every type of combination of those 2 and nothing change. Now, w/t a lantern your are dead.
I know some ppl complaind about the exploit but even w/t it you could see the land at some level, now its all pitch black. {F28538}
Doesn't look -pitch black- to me. There's a lot of daytime servers now, so if you want to look around I suggest you hop servers until you find a daytime one.

Well if the night is dark and adjusting the gamma doesn't help then it hardly seems like a bug to me - more like a resolved exploit. Downvoting.
But not even the lamps on street cast light, so if you dont have a lantern you are basicly unable to play.
It kinda sucks seeing all the lamps turned on and you still cant see anything, it doesnt sound too realistic to me.
The game has simulated moon phase so moonless nights are darker than with a moon. Also overcast affects how bright it is outside. Get used to it.
Sounds a bit like the arma3 bug where light sources were too dim or didn't cast light at all.
Ive got the same Problems on my system. My mate doesnt. Looks like a bug on some systems only..
Could this be video card dependent, Night as it is is useless to me. there is no hope of seeing anything in any version of night I have been exposed too in the last 2 days.I have an Nvidia card.
