Agree, sinking to the bottom when in ragdoll needs to be addressed, however I believe initiating ragdoll when you eject from a fast moving vehicle is a feature.
For example: ejecting out of a moving land vehicle can cause you to ragdoll and cartwheel down the road which is what would happen in real life. Ejecting from a speed boat also has its drawbacks however not to the extent depicted in the game at the moment so yes it needs to be tweaked.
Not sure you can wear NVG's in front of your diving mask in real life. However you should have them in your inventory for when you get out of the water.
yeah far too arcadey. definitely needs changing and would be nice to have a difficulty option to enable take on helicopters flight model.

I cant speak for COD, maybe because its an arcade piece of crap and arma is a simulator. The ACMA is responsible for placing ratings on games in Australia and its at their discretion, this I am using as an example. It is interesting that the devs scripted women characters in arma 2 to not beable to pickup or carry weapons, so why did they go to the effort ? and what the hell is their to bluff about, ratings are real and games have been prohibited before in certain countries for whatever reasons.
Have a look: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_banned_video_games_in_Australia
I think the only problem there is for the devs implementing arms bearing women in the game is ratings. Having women or children bearing armes in a game is a big no no. This is why in arma 2 civilian women models are unable to pickup or carry weapons, the devs went to the effort to do this to keep the ratings down.
I personally have no problem with women in a game simply because its a game. I hope they find a way to put them in.

Ratings can get higher than M, and its not about the devs not able to implement it its about the areas of saleability. All games must be reviewed and rated to be accepted in certain countries this also applies on steam as steam will lock out some countries from purchasing a product/game if the ratings exceed the countries ratings. For example; Australia recently allowed R+ ratings on games which allows for all content in games. Prior to the acceptance of R+ in Australia True Rock studios and Valve had to change the ingame content of L4D to be able to sell in Australia or the game would have been completely banned.
