Continue to experience problem after latest update 23 May 2022.
No resolution or work-around discovered.

Yes...multiple times. uninstalled / reinstalled twice, verified multiple times. modifying a file name results in positive ID of bad file and update.

Exact same conditions happen for me. Have tried to save, restart mission, but exact conditions described above occurs. I am running the latest version of Arma III via steam.
