Yes...multiple times. uninstalled / reinstalled twice, verified multiple times. modifying a file name results in positive ID of bad file and update.

I found a work around for this but I have to re-enact this solution everytime I launch the game:
in mydocuments/mygames/ArmaReforger/profile, I delete the "battlEye" folder entirely, then in the local files (steamapps/common/armareforger) I go to the battlEye folder there, uninstall, reinstall, then click the 64 bit exe, then launch the game.
This folder (I believe) does not get removed with an uninstall of either battleye or the game itself.
It should be noted I am on Windows 10 for this.
