Items are always in "Pristine" condition in the hotbar regardless of their quality in the inventory.
The empty use also applies to water containers' mL remaining.

I'm experiencing the same issue.
Happens only in first person, not in third and when the flashlight is holstered.
Flashlight shadow is dependent on camera angle, not player position. I can use alt to look around and my shadow stays put but the flashlight shadow moves around the world.
