I'm experiencing the same issue.

Happens only in first person, not in third and when the flashlight is holstered.

Flashlight shadow is dependent on camera angle, not player position. I can use alt to look around and my shadow stays put but the flashlight shadow moves around the world.

Same here. Be first person, see only flashlight shadow 6 feet away.

Seems to be resolved since on of the recent updates.
