This game is to strive against reality, i highly disagree with your opinion. This section is to report issues, this is not an issue. It's a design decision the game makers have done (which i fully agree with).

If you want to have the feel of a "normal" fps game, go play one.

Making us unable to "spam-drink" at wells would solve the problem. Then we would learn that we shouldn't continue spamming after the char becomes stuffed.

And imagine if you drink fuckloads of water, then it's a quite thin line between feelign stuffed and throwing up as well. Not sure that I agree with you that this is an issue.

The reason that nighttime becomes so incredibly dark is because the ingame renderer removes the sun light source, which is the only one active in the game (except for various lamps).

An easy fix for this would simply be to add the moon as a light very weak light source, as it is in real life. The colors would also be fixed then, if the light from the moon is correct.
