Yes, but if you mean: "Fast-roping will be sported by the engine", it would be a nice way to say, the engine can, but the game can't. But it's easy to mod it into the game, if you want to. Easier than in arma 2. So I will believe it, when I rope down from a helicopter in arma 3 ;).
I know that it is dangerous and you can see that by looking at my note where I said: "well, you would get shot much easier [...], but ...". My point was, if it isn't possible to programm it in a nice way for soldiers in cargo, then it is possibly easier to programm it for soldiers at the outside of the helo. And just remember the seemingly small thing of side mirrors and the center mirror. They said it was really hard to realize, although it seems to be just a small gadget.
If it isn't quite easy to implement it in a way, so you board a Ka-60 e. g. and then rope out of it in a nice and realistic way. A possibly easier way to implement the feature would be doing it in the same way as with the MH-9. there you sit on a bench at the outside of the helicopter. now imagine boarding the helicopter in a roping position on the ground at the outside of the helicopter. well, you would get shot much easier, and there wouldn't be a lot of space for soldiers, especially with a small helicopter like the MH-9 without benches, but it would be a possibility to drop 4 soldiers or so into a forest or onto a building.

Now it already crashed in the game lobby, when I used the voice function by accident.
Oh, that was the data from the appdata/local file for the second crash ;).
Voice works again, possibly it was just a problem on that particular server.
It just crashed again. I was sitting in a MH-9 this time and when using push to talk, the game froze and crashed. But it crashes when I let the key go, not while I am talking! I was both times on the same server. And the little square infront of the name was green, not yellow or red ... well red doesn't work anyway, but you know!

No, the top left number of the center hud is your speed, the top right number is the altitude and the number in the center right of the hud is showing you how fast you accelerate up or down with your main rotor.
What does ASL and AGL mean?
I don't like the idea of a menu, because it takes away the realism and reminds me of RPGs. I thinks this is inappropriate for this game. Although I like the idea of locking/unlocking the backpack in a multiplayer game, because it's the same problem as with vehicles and planes.
You are welcome! It's great to have the chance to help making this game great, because it deserves it =).
Oh! And thanks =)!
The soldier is a BLUE-force soldier. And it isn't a TAR-21, it's a TRG-21 GL F ^^.

I am not sure, if this just happens to me, but when I look north, the weapon seems to react in a much more accurate way then by looking west, east and south! Does someone else had this experience?
Steps to reproduce:
- Open the Editor.
- Place a Soldier.
- Press Preview.
- Aim north and aim through an optic.
- Fire and observe the weapon response to it.
- Repeat that by looking west, east and south.
- There should be a difference.
And I like the way the weapon reacts pointed north. But looking towards other directions and firing lets the weapon react really weirdly. It makes a big step between the first and the second shot, which just seems to be unnatural.
Used Version: 0.55.104517/ Arma 3 Alpha Dev
Faster workaround: Press 5 on your number pad. Then your view moves back to normal. But it's a bug anyway.
