Fella on twitter found a workaround, sign in with an alt account while having your main signed in aswell, using the alt account open the game until you reach the title screen then switch to your main, press A, now at the menu sign out the alt account then your account will be synced in. @Benejamkenny mentioned this workaround helping someone else commenting on DayZ Twitter.
