JalapaJuiceJerry and Jo, you should check the date when writing on reports. This thread was created when you couldn't use sharp objects to open cans. At least 2 patches happened in the meantime.

I got a popup message once that the can-opener-texture couldn't be displayed. I made a screenshot, but instead of a pic of the game I got one of my desktop instead... so maybe they just aren't visible. Finding stuff via vicinity tab is damn near impossible at times even though you could just middle mousebutton click and take it this way.
