nope, I have not found a work around for this. Still having the issue.

I self host for friends all the time. Can be done by setting up a static IP and forwarding ports on your router. Sometimes connecting clients will connect and drop without giving an error, I find that if you (the host) are in the mission select screen and not the slot-in screen of the mission while others are connecting they will stay connected. I use a Logitech extreme 3D pro and by default the collective up reads as negative input, and the down collective reads as positive. When I unbind the analog settings the problem goes away.
