The server probably had about 10 people on. It was on a private, whitelisted RP server so most likely not a cheater. I saw a post in a DayZ facebook group that explained someone experiencing the same thing I did.
I wasn't lagging. I didn't fall through the floor, but simply dropped dead on the ground. Possibly with broken legs.
