Description

This has happened to me twice today. I was looting and then suddenly when I picked up an item I drop dead on the spot.
First time was when I picked up a combat knife in the ATC at NWAF. The second time was in the shed by the church on the hill in Novo, picking up a tire repair kit.

This is a fatal game breaking bug.
I've died three times due to bugs/glitches today and this has completely ruined the game for me for a while. How am I supposed to play (I play Roleplay servers where lengthened character development is key) when I die three times a day?

Rather odd those items do not kill you. Was the server full? was it lagging any?

Nobody that i know has died ever from a combat knife, did you fall through the floor?

Sure its not a cheater???

Come over to HIHB servers, they have admins. Not 1 person has died like your suggesting.

The server probably had about 10 people on. It was on a private, whitelisted RP server so most likely not a cheater. I saw a post in a DayZ facebook group that explained someone experiencing the same thing I did.
I wasn't lagging. I didn't fall through the floor, but simply dropped dead on the ground. Possibly with broken legs.

Without seeing your rpt files, who knows what real error you where faced with.
