That would be the kestrel device, as used in ArmA 2's Ace mod. Didn't figure the name would matter as no current device is in game at the current stage of Beta.

Yes Prospekt, but thankfully atleast the rocks don't throw you 100 meters in the air/ randomly cause you to get injured when walking on one.

Still posted this just as a very minor bug that could be fixed but definitely is not necesarry

This would be a great addition to making not only units in the mission but setting up your mission scenery, I can't tell how many times I've had to load a mission up trying to find that one good starting position or which fortification looked like what I needed in that situation to make a base camp.

Regardless, the editor for ARMA (II and III) are among the most advanced of any games I've played and it's a great tool even in 2d.
