Confirm this happens to me.

Happens while sprinting with nothing in hands, covering about 7-8 hundred meters, and sent back to where I start sprinting. Seems to get thrown back whenever I stop from a complete run.

Occurred once while running with group of 8 players, 3 of us were set back, other 5 were fine.

First time having this issue was 12/26, continued to have it on 12/27.
