Sometimes you can reproduse this, by going into a crouching position, while using your optics.
E.g. Go inside firestation on NWAF, climb up the tower, befor reaching 1st flor, look through your longe range scope southern direction (sniper hill), press your crouch button while aiming and your Character slowly fall to the ground and will die.
