OK I have figured out why the game freezes/crashes or I get loss of ingame sound, basically I was using the usb 3.0 slot which was conflicting with the headset, so using the regular usb slot has fixed the issue so this issue can be now closed.

when I updated win 10 from win 8, I took the option to not do a clean install it was overwritten to keep my personal files, relatively new pc about 2 months old.

Happens on both private and public servers

Sometimes only way to regain access(black screen and mouse pointer(moves)only! no keys work with pc) with pc is to press the restart button on desktop to manually reboot pc
