I tried troubleshooting this earlier today.
Launching it directly from launcher's exe solved the problem.
I had this issue earlier on, but since it didn't properly launch after installing I thought it was a problem with installation.

Same thing occured today, character got wiped after painting the AK base whilst holding it in my hands and relogging. I was back in the same spot as I were before logging out, with the only difference of not having anything but the AK base and a scope on it. No clothing whatsoever.
