Could be a hardware/driver issue.

On advice from a friend I also tried reinstalling BattleEye, but that did not help.

Reinstalled Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable, both 32 and 64-bit.
SFC /scannow finds nothing wrong.
Rebooted

And now it worked for some reason. I'll update whenever it starts crashing randomly again.

This happens on join to Altis life randomly picked from the ingame server browser as well. The issue is not related to specifically KOTH or launching the server directly from the launcher.
