Problem fixed i had to update my drivers and then go to my nvidea geforce experience and i scanned my games and had to set Dayz to run on optimized settings! but thank you very much for your help and the new update is awesome My friend and i found one of the trucks right when we got on but to anyone who is having this problem be sure to check your drivers and make sure to set to optimized settings

Sorry paper26, i tried that but it didn't work. i had no launch-parameters and i think i deleted the config file (the one in the Dayz file in the documents) and i don't have an error code now if i try to run from the desktop shortcut, it just says dayz has stopped working.

Yes i have completed all of these steps but the game will still not launch.

Andy, i also have a similar problem numbered 0021483. i have already tried the data execution prevention check and it says Dayz is clear.
