Every time i try to launch the game is says Dayz has stopped working. However, if I try to launch Dayz_BE in admin mode it gives me that error code.
Things i have already tried:
Launching steam in admin mode
Dayz in admin mode
uninstalling steam (2 times)
uninstalling Dayz (4 times)
verifying files on steam (3 times)
downloading c++ packs (2010 and 2013)
checking for data execution prevention
Everytime I try to launch in any way possible.
I cannot play at all and have been trying to fix game for two days and combined total of probably 12 hours. i have looked at every forum i can get my hands on and nobody has had this problem nor knows how to fix it. Please helpi really want to try the new update very soon and this is exhausting i cant get anything else done because i am trying to figure this stupid thing out.

Just to confirm; did you set the
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ\DayZ.exe"
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\DayZ\DayZ_BE.exe" and
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steam.exe"
to run as administrator?
Also (I know you mentioned it, but still), could you try the following steps please:

I had exactly the same problem. I deleted the launch-parameters of DayZ and the DayZ-Config directory. After that, everything was fine.
Sorry paper26, i tried that but it didn't work. i had no launch-parameters and i think i deleted the config file (the one in the Dayz file in the documents) and i don't have an error code now if i try to run from the desktop shortcut, it just says dayz has stopped working.

Please try reinstalling your graphics drivers as well.
If that does not help, please go to your AppData folder (C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\), delete the contents, reproduce the crash (by launching the game) and then attach the newly created AppData contents to this ticket in a .rar.

Problem fixed i had to update my drivers and then go to my nvidea geforce experience and i scanned my games and had to set Dayz to run on optimized settings! but thank you very much for your help and the new update is awesome My friend and i found one of the trucks right when we got on but to anyone who is having this problem be sure to check your drivers and make sure to set to optimized settings
