My buddies and I have been playing together with the same characters for a couple of days now. Last night we finished playing, and all logged off together in the same building. This morning, when my friend tried logging on, he saw his character in the main menu screen, but he decided to change servers. He joined a normal Texas based server, and after loading, he had spawned as a brand new character with no items. When he told me, I tried logging on but did not try changing servers, I just hit 'play'. My character loaded fine in the same spot I left him with all his stuff.
