Game now crashed again.

Since the last crash (approx 30 min ago) gate locks are set to 0000 and numbers are not cycling through, locking players inside and outside their bases.

Logged back in to find my health dropped down to blinking red status and limping around—as I’m in the middle of traveling between towns avoiding altercations with zombies and survivors. Cannot open or toggle anything; cannot pick up items—it’s showing the animation but no item is actually being transferred to hand or inventory. The gate locks are not interactive again, and my friend is trapped inside their own base. As I’m writing this, my health bar is blinking red with one upward arrow, but my health has not rose at all and my character is laying down, resting.

This is on PS4. Not PC

I've also noticed all our batteries and gas canisters are empty. Also had a few roll backs when the server has crashed causing items to be lost. Also problems interacting with ladders where you have to touch your nose on it to actually get the climb promt up and on some larger ladders when dismounting your character doesn't move to the ledge/floor instead just lets go and falls, luckily I got stuck on the ladder half way down and didn't die just got knocked out but I won't be climbing and big ladders again soon.

Batteries! I can’t believe I forgot. Every Server crash or disconnection has KILLED all my car batteries, 9V batteries and gas canisters. I have spent hours trying to charge my car batteries with charger and generator—WASTE. Any batteries I find that haven’t been picked up since the crash are duds. Only FRESH spawn car batteries have a charge, and they only last until the next server crash! Plus I’m starving and was ready to cook my wolf meat on my frying pan/gas stove combo... but I can’t! The gas canister is EMPTY after another host server disconnection and it was brand new... ALSO I cannot seem to light a crafted fireplace (not placed in stove and it has everything it needs) with a drill kit.

Yes, fences turning back into fence kits; secured locks are unable to be unlocked (keeps spinning without actually changing numbers); sometimes You log back in (after crash) and now you have blinking health, limping—you’re going To die with any one hit; a friend was searching a crane when the server crashed, when he logged back in he fell to his death; sometimes we end up “in rewind” and lose bags or items that have been picked up previously—sometimes backtracking recovers them and sometimes they’re just gone; I swear I see the “lost connection to host” message like every 5-10 minutes now....

This also affects code locks causing players to be stuck inside bases until codes start showing normally.

As for the car issue, yes. Please try to make some serious adjustments to how they drive and/or how things in the environment load, especially on console. Didn't know this was a huge issue on PC as well. Car crashes are way too common, and without XML file adjustments, they are so hard to find all the parts to and assemble, just to drive for a few minutes and lag spike into a tree.

I was having the same issue with base building, on XBOX, I typically build my perimeter with just logs, then go back and add the frames and walls.
I had to readjust a crap load of fence that didn't allow me to build frames for.
I could attach the nails and planks, but could not use my hammer nor hatchet to build the frames until I dug up the posts and rebuilt.
My server is on a 6 hour restart schedule and I restarted twice manually after the update.
Also, I did not start building the fence at all until after the update and reboots, so it was all fresh to the new update and none of the fence existed prior to.

Correction of written above, after the server crash of server ps4 DE 0864 last night, all combination locks were set on 000 or 0000.. some players raided our base and put the combinations locks back on..please fix this! @Geez

Does this affect combination locks too? As all our combination locks are stuck on 0's. We experienced this the other day too.

@Geez this is an indicator of the exploit people are abusing to crash servers and dupe items.

@Geez players have been crashing servers repeatedly because of an unpatched dupe exploit.

Yes got the same problem on this PS4 server DE 0864. Server is lagging last days, and dissappears multiple times from the list.

That happens when you are maxed out on calories and hydration.

I hope this gets fixed on PS4 and I think it might also be on Xbox too.

So, apparently you cannot roast food an a long stick anymore? Every single time I've tried to cook food the application freezes, and I dont mean just a temp freeze lole when driving a car, I have to shut the application down and restart it. Which in turn I lose the fire and the food I was trying to cook.

3 times today, I have logged in, crafted a fireplace, placed the fireplace, took out my matches and ignited the fireplace, and upon doing so the game crashes. Every time.

I'm going to try to get a run going again and compare the red and yellow glowsticks on separate nights, if an admin wants to try to recreate it I think you should go to dobroe at night starting at the road northwest just slightly past the town name road signs, walk+sprint and see if you have noticeably different zombie reactions, to perfectly emulate it have it attached to a red hiking pack and test it on the NY 55-- servers, I forget the 2 laat numbers. If it's not recreated at all then I'm positive I was cheated by a moderator on the server or a hacker/Modder.

since the new update it is almost impossible to light the bonfire with the handrill kit or the matches, the option to light them does not appear, please fix that.

yeah we tried to build 3 wt in a row could do it before the update and now can only build the first and last tower but not the middle levels base idk wtf going on but this is getting ridiculous. but we do have a fence that blocking another part thats in front of the wt so idk if thats another issue as well

I have a second account as well that one also was experiencing the same issues untill today but main account still unable to load in. Update: while load screen was up the in game sound came on and I could hear myself walking and jumping but still stuck on load screen. 🤷🏻‍♂️
