the map of chernarus is very large and if i go on a long journey, then, having found valuable loot, i want to be able to take the valuable loot to my base in one, albeit long, journey, and not run back and forth 6 times, because the inventory only holds a bandage and a few cans of food. it is necessary to return the size of the inventory.
for people who play alone, there is no point in raiding bases or even just finding secret stashes, because there is simply nowhere to put the things you find and carry them. if you come to raid with two weapons on your back, it means that you can take a couple of grenades and one weapon from the stash and your inventory is already bursting at the seams. reducing the size of the inventory did not lead to new challenges and new interest in the game, it only led to a worsening of the experience. enough time has passed since the last update to understand this in the process of playing.
I think maybe the keys could be a good thing considering that the boats will be so common now. I find it problematic that we'll keep having to go back to the same ship that's out in the open water. We should have dynamic ship crashes, oil rigs or maybe submarines and the keys should be found on those dynamic wrecks.
Listen, you should think more clearly about what you are writing and why you are writing it. I thought it was common sense on how an airdrop should be implemented. Plane flies over, drops a package, package is visible from far away, players fight for said package. Does that make enough sense to you? Yes, it's also common sense for a bag to carry three radiators.. like it did for so many years.
The inventory change causes too much downtime, sitting and organizing loot in my actual inventory and making constant trips to my stashes and bases like this takes away from the time I could be experiencing the game like I once did.
I'm sorry that you can't carry 3 radiators in your bag my friend. Your second point just sounds like you aren't wanting to play the game lol. Yes people will camp it and its your job to kill them. Does that sound good to you? Airdrops literally seems pointless unless you can say a way they can implement them without just saying "add airdrops please!!!" And if they do add it, it'll just be a reskin of a heli crash. Does that sound good to you? This game will never be how you and I want it to be. It is up to us to be willing to play the game. And I'm saying we can't be critical, we surely can but resilience is necessary in order to live a happy life in and out of DayZ.
Junglecat That's just the thing. Helicrashes hardly ever draw people to them, I have 11k hours on the game and I could count on my hand how many gunfights I've been in at a helicrash despite it having a crash sound and a plume of smoke. I've only seen one group of players because of a convoy.. and that was on the way to the Livonia bunker. If it's nothing new, then why are they so bad at doing what is intended?
I would agree with the Christmas event ruining the economy of the game, but I would disagree with you sentiment about the containers. It was highly unlikely you'd see people on these other islands because you could easily stop and loot the crate, and that was that but now it will draw people together. Allowing for closer PVP and not making it so easy to find high tier items like M4's, DMR's, etc... I'm not sure it's "the wrong way" to draw people together. In-fact its what helicrashes and convoys do already. Just bringing people closer for high tier loot is nothing new.
Resolved for 1.27
Not a bug, this is just the end of the map.
lol, no amount of money will allow them to return it, it is probably already wiped
Please help me asap
Aider moi s’il vous plaît
@Geez check out my task on the easiest way to whitewall in DayZ prevelant since day 1
hello, thanks for the reply, i got in contact with nitrado they did some configuration and it seems to have stopped it
Hello Robbietay99.
Unfortunately this is a FROZEN type of dump which does not lead us towards a cause of crashes. Do you by any chance run any modified files? And does the crashing persist if you remove these?

Geez
In such case any information in regards to the glitch would be useful so we can produce said glitch on our end so we can patch it and it can be no longer used.
The account was definitely exploiting a glitch not sure how I can prove it all I know is I ran with the player for 20 minutes and he was bragging about his abilities just to ultimately glitch me and my duo to death lol
Hello Bamofo93.
Is the server still offline?

Geez
Hello Saevans779.
Can you prove somehow that the player was using a cheat software? As as of now we are not aware of any cheats being developed for the consoles. Was the player maybe using some sort of in game glitch? As that is different from using cheats.
Regards,
Geez
I have created a ticket in November and provided a video of another cheater, but the ticket was simply ignored. So there is very little hope that you will be helped. This is sad.

Will it be optional or will community servers be forced to use this new system? I hope we can choose which method to use.
Ibadullah should be banned
Will this be for all vehicles?
The PROBLEM is that some players turn up the brightness/gamma to the maximum on their MONITORS and they can see at night, and other players do not see anything at night on their TVs.
For this reason, night is not a playable time for me, since others can see me, but I cannot see them.
It would be good if the night was made equally dark for all players regardless of the monitor or TV.
It looks like I turn my tv off when it’s night time.
Nope, you are in hip fire. You don't aim down the sight until you press R3, at which point you're in first person and therefore your camera and point of aim are aligned perfectly.
Yes, @RainSenshi , I understand the specifics of this game ☝️ but it's not hip fire. When you press L2, the character aims. The crosshair is where the bullet should go, I guess 🪖
Play first person servers and this will never happen lol. the crosshair does not take different ranges into account when playing third person.
It's very annoying !
Same problem here . Playing in PS5.
You should have left the task name as "DayZ official Grinch", why are you tryna steal Christmas xD

Despawn implemented for 1.27
I'm not a fan of the changes proposed here, people can build bases along the water and store boats at their bases just like cars. I don't think they should despawn unless they're destroyed, same as cars. Maybe suggest a monthly vehicle wipe to the server owner instead.
This is not only a problem of the Sahal map. I forgot the last time I saw a boat on Chernarus. They are simply collected in one place, or driven along rivers deep into the map, once I saw a boat under a bridge. Hunting for cars makes sense, since they are multifunctional transport. Although meeting a car at a respawn point is more often an exception than a rule. But boats have a very limited use, it is simply a bonus to movement on water and that's all. It would be great if boats respawned after some fixed time, for example every hour, two, four, and so on.
