Blue/purple glow on the character's chin, groin and ankles within the inventory screen

Inventory screen again but taken a few minutes later and the glow seems to be gone but returns again later.

I can confirm this is happening on exp-branch.

This only happens for me when im looking at the direction of the sun.

Also confirm, append more often when inside building.

I think this happens only when you are looking towards the sun, am i right? I mean : you are watching the sun then you enter inventory, still watching sun in background, than there is that blue glow. Is that right? Or is it there no matter where you look before entering inventory? Thanks

@ Cetar, no this was on a night server, if you look at the last two screen shot links you'll see it's dark.

so it doesnt change if you change your look maybe towards the moon? Is there a glow everytime or just in night? My point is if the glow disappears with look change or if it doesnt. I know that this issue happens with sun, blue glow in night is something new. Thanks (new nick now)

I saw this on daylight and more intensive inside house than outside. Maybe a new integration of character depending on light? But looks definitely like a graphic glitch more than a new feature.

Okay managed to get a couple more hours of game play, this time it was day light, and I still had the glow appear even if I was looking in different directions.

For example, I was in Elektro, running West (into the sun) opened my inventory and everything in there plus on my hotbar got this tint to it, I close the inventory change direction (North) reopen my inventory and the colour has gone, I turn West again open my inventory still no tint, turned south tint appears.

Sadly though I wasn't able to snap and screenies as I was being shot at, I'll try and get more on this as soon as I can get back in game.

Okay got some more game time in, it was a day time server and yes I can confirm that the glow is from looking at the sun and/or having the sun on a 90 degree angle. I didn't bother taking any new shots as that part was known.

Sadly I've not had the chance to play at night again so I've been unable to test the moon being the cause at night.

same here- the glow appears to be lighting the bottom on every single object in the menu

I have the same issue, it is really annoying. Also if you change your graphics while in the server the issue is fixed for a couple of minutes then it comes back again.

The glow is only visible when your heading is between SE and NW going clockwise. Looking between NW and SE clockwise is fine.

Take a look at the screens "blueSkin1" and "blueSkin2", the sun was to my right and I was trying around a bit to find the right angle. If you compare those two screens, I just turned very slightly to the left (away from the sun) and the glow disappeared. Turning slightly to the right again (towards the sun), the blue glow appeared again.

Yeah sorry for the long delay, but this is still currently happening, it's in the latest experimental patch (0.49) and is related to the sun/moon being head on or at most a 90 degree angle to the character.

No other information I can get regarding this.

How can I watch Blueskin1 and blueskin2?

If you're logged in, you should see the images under the file names and you should be able to download them in original size by clicking on them.

I'm using Firefox and it's just fine for me. If you're using script blockers, try unblocking dayzgame.com.

The icons are shown as Icons, but a click on it doesn't react...

I'm going to answer what a dev told me when I ask the same question as you :
You are not supposed to view the attached files since that can be sensible stuff like hack or exploit (not this one of course). If the reporter wants us to see the files, he has to post a link like imgur.
It's true that once we can download those files but the dev told me that it was an unintended bug of the tracker.

ah okey, that can explain why it wont work^^ I thought it was just me doing something wrong...
But for hacks and so on, don't they have possibility like posts to make it private?
