AT soldiers animations: Odd Behaviour

Description

Stand up position

  1. When you equip a soldier with AT weapon, you can't crouch.
  2. Equip your soldier with AT weapon. If you hit prone key, soldier puts AT weapon on his back, equippes the rifle and remains standing.
  3. Equip your soldier with AT weapon. Use binoculars. Sodier puts AT weapon on his back and looks through binoculars. When you unequip binoculars, soldier puts it in a pouch, equips AT weapon, then puts AT weapon on his back and finally equips the rifle.

Crouched position

  1. When you equip a soldier with AT weapon, you can stand up. Of course, you can't crouch again.
  2. Equip your soldier with AT weapon. If you hit prone key, soldier puts AT weapon on his back, equippes the rifle and remains crouching.
  3. Equip your soldier with AT weapon. Use binoculars. Soldier reaches for binoculars with his left hand, while holding AT weapon with his right hand on his right shoulder, which I think is great. But when you unequip binoculars, soldier puts it in a pouch, puts AT weapon on his back, and equipes the rifle.

Prone position

  1. When you're prone, try to equip your soldier with AT weapon. He stands up and equips it.
  2. Binoculars work fine, but animations are like 2 times faster, it's like watching a silent movie.

Inventory

Go to crouched position, equip AT weapon. Go to inventory. Exit inventory. First tap run key once. (mine is RMB) Start running. For approx. 5 seconds soldier is sliding on the ground, there is no running animation. If you dont tap run key, but hold it down instead, animation is fine.

I agree.

After firing an nlaw missile you just want to take your primary weapon (to be able to riposte) and take cover asap.

So many times I have been killed by enemy units just after I shot a vehicle because my character start a so long animation before going prone (fixed on ground) when bullets flying around ears.

Very irritating when you play a coop with no re-spawn.

what was great --> Be able to move and change weapon and be able to go prone without change nlaw to primary weapon in crouch position.(appear some-time)

The minimum would be
1 -Firing missile
2 -Be able to go prone with the nlaw
3 -And after that change to primary weapon

for binocular if you have a secondary weapon, when you put away your binocular your character take the secondary weapon and not the first.

I love the bis work since OFP (I'm fan) but I don't understand how animations problems like that could be present arma version after arma version, Devs don't play the game ?

Maybe a video should be nice

otally agree, it's just confusing, and irritates me when my character does things that i did not told him to do

Need shooting prone, and not fix this sad ...

The stupid stand-up bug is back again.

Equipped with AT, start running and go prone. Your character will pack away the AT rocket and go prone, but then immediately upon moving forward while prone, will stand-up again. As if to say to the enemy, "Here I am! Let me stand still for you!"

Checked all the steps and not reproducible anymore.
Not being able to operate AT launcher when prone is normal, in vanilla game, since forever.
