Getting more information about a map-marker
Assigned, LowPublic

Description

It would be useful to have some kind of tool-tip when hovering over a map-marker, to indicate which player placed the marker, and what channel it was placed on.

Also, it would be good to have an indication of the current channel when you place the marker. There is a small customization window when you place a marker now. Shouldn't be a problem to add a small channel indicator there.

P.S. I didn't even know before that the current channel affects the visibility of the marker. So this should kind of also be a way to let people know about that.

This suggestion was processed by our team and will be looked into. We thank you for your feedback.

You need to put tags into that ticket if you want people to find it and vote Devil_Inside. I accidently created a duplicate, while I actually spent some time searching for a corresponding ticket beforehand.

Anyway +1, you got my vote. That's something that has been bothering me as well especially on Wasteland servers.

Name is displayed when you hover over the marker. You can see which channel it was placed in by switching your channel and seeing when it is not transparent.
