Cannot fire after dropping weapons outside a container, and then taking a pistol from a container.
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

After a certain sequence of inventory actions, the player becomes unable to fire his only weapon. Appears only to affect the two pistols at the moment, but I've reproduced it many times using various containers including weapon crates and dead enemies.

Steps To Reproduce

Have access to a weapons crate (or a dead body) containing a pistol and ammo.
Without accessing the container, drop your weapons on the ground nearby via your own inventory.
Access the container, then take a pistol and its ammo.
Exit the gear menu.
Your character should be holding the pistol, but acting as if he were unarmed.

Additional Information

This does not happen if the player has his weapons removed via scripts instead of dropping them manually, nor if he drops his weapons on the ground from within the crate's gear menu.

To bypass that bug you can press F ,but still it is annoying

This kind of thing happened a lot in ArmA2 with many weapon swap cheat mod.
Annoying, should be fix,but not so crucial

Duplicate of #7538
(different repro, same problem: fire mode isn't selected when auto-equipping weapons in some circumstances)
