I am getting low FPS as well doesn't matter what I do for video settings. Stays at 20-30fps, around bases it drops lower.

i5-2500k
8GB Ram
Radeon HD 7950

Same problem here.

Fast game PC. And low FPS.

I am getting low FPS as well it does improve a tiny bit when I do auto detect but I can run many more powerful games than Arma 3 on ultra such as Battlefield 3.

PC Specifications:

8 Gigabytes DDR3 RAM
AMD Phenom II x4 955
Nvidia GeForce GTX 560

The FPS stays around 20 or 25 for me depending on the area.

They're still building the game. You're playing on unfinished code that hasn't been polished or optimized for performance yet. Worry about performance once the game has finished being developed, or at least wait until it's in beta.

Same problem here. Even on lowest settings i get under 60fps most of the times. But never under 50. On ultra i get around 20-30 fps sometimes even lower.

System specs:

i7 3770k 3,9ghz
16gb ram
Asus GTX 680 4gb SLI

im getting the same problem on auto detect really low fps, at some points it drops as low as 14fps, this happend at the beginning of the flying mission at the airport. the diffrece from low to ultra settings must be no more than 15 fps.

system specs are
AMD piledriver 8 core 4.3ghz
sapphire 7970 3gb vapor-x
12gb ram

Guys look on this website. If you watch the video you know how to do it in arma 2. But the funniest thing is: this also worked for me in arma 3. Better FPS!

You can try setting the clouds quality to "off", this gave me about 20fps more on arma 3

however, i can't really mock about performance since with lowest settings it runs at a smooth 40fps and i have a low to mid end pc barely having the minimum settings covered, except for the cpu

The stuff in the video didn't help and the disabling of clouds didn't help either. Flushing also has no effect.

Even after autodetect (high-very high), my FPS was around 20.

Same issue.

System Specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4gHz
Diamond HD 7870 2gb
8GB G.Skill F3-12800CL9-2GBRL RAM

Oh and might I add this has something to do with player count on my end. 16 players is crisp and smooth. Get to mid 20's though and we have a problem.

No matter the setting I use, 1440p low/ultra 1080p low/ultra I get ~30FPS now low is slightly better and more playable than ultra its still silly considering I get about 50fps on A2.

Oh and those who are running a Crossfire Configuration, it seems that A3 utilizes crossfire but does not use it properly.

My specs

Intel i7 2700k Hyperthreading off, 3.9ghz turbo clock
2x Radeon HD 7950s 880/1250 mhz, 8x/8x PCIe 2.0 Xfire setup

And from a query of friends it would seem that arma 3 runs much better on nvidia cards than AMD :/

Please don't spend your time adding notes saying how we should wait, this isn't a forum thread, it's a feedback tracker, and this is fair feedback. The more people that report issues to do with performance the more likely the devs are likely to consider optimization more seriously when it comes to it.

Don't add a note unless it's relevant.

54 frames a second average multiplayer. Ultra settings. This is while walking, shooting at enemy etc. Tops out at 60 and dips into 40's

I understand my framerate as reported by Fraps full version to change according to game situation. 120 frames second in menu (BenQ 120 hertz) to a few while loading to game which is normal.

3 MSI 680 4gb in SLI
i7 3770k 4.2 gig (Temp runs 40C playing this game under water cooling)
32 Gb Trident 2400 RAM.

It has been my overall experience after 15 years beta, gaming etc that ATI Cards will be somewhat late in patching to run well to those who have them. I use Nvida now for that reason.

Flawwoo Your specs is identical to mine, I just have more cards, RAM and somewhat faster clock on the same CPU. And it is interesting to see your results close to mine... Hmm...

same here
i5 2500 stock speed (3.3 - 3.7 ghz)
8gb ram
MSI GF GTX 660 2gb

gpu usage 35-45%

I'm having the same issue aswell.

GTX670
16GB DDR3 RAM
AMD 6 core processor at 3.2 GHz

There is a very well known issue about poor hardware utilization. It's being worked on.

Fucking dayz kids, please use the search function. WASTELAND's scripting is the issue with low gpu/cpu utilization in mp; either go play vanilla mp or sp until wasteland is fixed by their own team.

60fps sp
30-50fps 65 player mp

Phenom II x6 @4ghz
2gb 6970 @975,1500
Windows 8

You are suffering from low CPU/GPU utilization. This issue has been assigned to a developer here: #0000716.
