After performing a server wipe, the cfgweather.xml file present at the moment the new server data storage file is generated appears to become permanently cached or locked in. Any subsequent changes to the cfgweather file (including updates or complete replacements) do not seem to take effect.
Reproduction Example:
- Enable snow in cfgweather on Chernarus.
- Wipe the server.
- Modify or replace the cfgweather file to use rain instead.
- Restart the server.
Expected Behavior:
The server should apply the updated weather configuration (rain) after restart.
Actual Behavior:
The server continues to use the original (snow) configuration from the moment of the wipe, ignoring any later changes.
Additional Issue:
Post-wipe, weather behavior becomes unstable. Regardless of the defined parameters, values such as overcast, thunder, and fog often ramp up to maximum intensity shortly after the server starts, overriding the configured settings.
