Description

After updating the game, the saves of the demos and the Oldman campaign are always broken, it’s a shame for the time spent, since I didn’t completely complete the campaign, but was already at the very end of the plot

Hi, this is normal (unfortunately). Saves are usually not compatible between game versions.
However, you can give https://save.arma3.io/ a chance to convert your 2.16 save to 2.18 version - no guarantee it works, but there are good chances it does!

I use a translator, so sometimes is not translated correctly, I mean the “Incompatible versions” error due to which the old save does not start

Well yes. The game updated. its now a different version.
The tool Lou posted above, can probably update your savegame.
