The DayZ launcher is still very slow, and this is not something that has become better with the recent influx of hundreds of Chinese servers, many of whom don't even seem to be real. While this will not help with the slow scan process, a way for the user to choose ip:s (or other attributes) to exclude would very much improve the search for valid servers.
In short, as an example, I would like to filter out all servers with an ip beginning with 43!
Start the launcher, a majority of all servers in the community tab are Chinese. Finding other servers becomes an annoying process.
@Geez Any news to share about the launcher issues? There are major issues right now and many community servers have been invisible on the launcher for weeks - servers are dying because of this. As a server owner I have now had to start recommending the third party launcher after spending years telling players not to use it... This really should not be necessary.
All the recent tickets dealing with the launcher in various ways are pretty damning - this is a major and urgent issue.

What is being done about servers not found in the browser/launcher? I have two servers that I am paying for that are not found when searching with either the name or IP addresses. The servers are found using DZSA and are listed in the steam API. So there is nothing wrong with the servers. Clearly I'm not the only one having this problem. The population of my servers has dropped drastically because of this. As of 13 Feb we are told the problem is being looked into. Please share with us what has been discovered so far.
The game has some blatantly obvious problems, and the problem with this launcher is one of them. And what are the developers doing at this time?! And let's release you another update without showing off and add a couple of trinkets to your game, and after that we will ask you to vote for the game of the year on Steam. This is all Bohemia
Do you expect your problems to be solved within 2 weeks? The (it feels like) 2 developers already have their hands full with integrating pointless things like masks (bug-free) into the game :-D
you see, that's the whole problem, that this problem did not appear yesterday and not two weeks ago !! She's already so old that she's seen dinosaurs! Yes, I expect this issue to be a very high priority. If you think about it, the server browser is CORE functionality. Without a reliable server list, why would anyone want to pay for server hosting if no one will ever find their server? Not to mention the poor suckers who paid for the game and are not being presented with the full list of servers that they can play on. They are getting robbed. It boggles my mind that Bohemia can be so blind to how badly this can hurt their product.
