In earlier patches I was almost always able to find a few PO-X vials within the dynamic gas zones. In this latest experimental patch, I can't seem to find a single one anymore.
I've searched around on two different experimental servers (one official and one community) and I've visited like 6 or 7 dynamic gas zones in total.
Please fix this before 1.20 goes to stable.

@quallensaft You don't need to go dynamic toxic zone, because dynamic toxic zone have same loot as without toxic gas.
You can find vials on Livonia everywhere where explosives spawning and in Underground bunker(highest chance). Lifetime is 900 sec. (15 min).
Vials are not spawning in Chernarus on public servers.
Here is example, vial can spawn in cyan/aqua color spawn points too.

@quallensaft, maybe it's the same as not knowing that dynamic toxic zones don't spawn better loot and not chem vials at all.

Well, I did some further testing and I can now indeed confirm that they do spawn, so you’re right there :) The only problem is that they’re now already gone by the time the gas has disappeared…
I visited some active dynamic gas zones again but this time wearing a full NBC suit and gasmask. I went in the gas and confirmed that there were PO-X vials laying around but I didn’t pick them up, instead I left the gas zones and waited just outside of them. When the gas had disappeared I went back immediately and came to the conclusion they were already despawned.
Since this hasn’t been mentioned in the changelog, I do consider this as a bug.
The despawn time is what is in the xml described (and that‘s law in game).
It seems it‘s no bug, it is just a lag of information and nobody knows what is intended and what not in the game. So some users of course create tickets (can not find bla bla…).
- is it intended that they only spawn in Livonia (raxto is telling so)
- is it intended that they only spawn in dyn. gas zones
- is it intended that they despawn before gas disappaer
Questions over questions… Only devs know what‘s right as long there is no fact-sheet how everything „should“ work and everybody could look at.

- it was said multiple times on DayZ streams, that dynamic contaminated areas not changing loot.
