I was just shot through a wall in the middle of the night by a guy driving a car. No sound. Just a shot to the head. I'm tired of official servers having these issues and nothing being done about it. You can even hear the second that he steps out of the car, but no shot, and hes out of view when he shoots. IN THE DARK. So stupid. Tired of this. I've played since standalone launched. I think im done after this.

Hello chibiakurei.
Banning and Hack detection is managed by BattlEye, not Bohemia Interactive. But ofcourse, we work closely with BE on getting most hackers detected and BattlEye manages to detect hundreds of hackers every month.
However, due to this fact, this kind of report does not fit into this space as we are not the ones responsible for the hack detection nor banning.
Regards,
Geez
It really bothers me that this is as far as you guys take these issues. With almost any other video game, if a player uses hacks, and causes issues for other players, they report and the developers work on the situation. Even other guys with BE present for their anti hack systems. I'm not going to keep wasting my time with this, especially when its not worth the developers time.
Geez,
So since you are stepping away from any kind of responsibilities, can you at least go to battle eye and let them know that you are not getting what you are paying for?
Is it really that hard for you guys to just add a window with battle eye already in Dayz client? Like hey, you died in a funny way? Click this button to report.
Now the whole responsibility for catching those hackers is passed to players, and you are not really making this any easier, despite the fact that you could address this already.
Sweeping the body under the carpet won't make it disappear, it will make it even reek more after some time. But yeah, let's just give them the battle eye website and let them work this around.
We would be happy to flood battle eye reports, but we can't as you don't really give us any tools, and step away under any kind of feedback on your game.
This is really sad seeing how this franchise consumed milions of bucks over the years, but the battle eye outdated software was with you for the whole time. Maybe make a new DLC guys?
I'm sure another one will fix all the issues :)
Geez,
In that case, can you please return all of the items that were raided or lost by ESP hackers over the last 2 weeks?
Since you won't do anything whatsoever to stop this, and like you said "go bother Battle eye", battle eye won't give me my items back - but you on the other hand can :)
Please let me know if you would like a list with pictures attached and I would be happy to provide the list of items along with the server name and IP.
This is really amazing customer service you are showing here, I really wish more people could see how sad this whole forum and your work is.
With no regards whatsoever.
Unfortunately, we do not reimburse any lost items.
As mentioned in my original post, we do monitor the situation and we do work closely with BattlEye in order to ban most of these hackers out there. As also mentioned, there are hundreds of hackers being banned every month.
Regards,
Geez
Yep, I wasn't expecting anything else from you to be honest.
Sooo, I understand that adding an integrated client in the window in Dayz or just a report button after a death is like SpaceX Rocket Science stuff right?
We don't have the technology right?
Why you won't do ANYTHING whatsoever to make this easier for everyone?
Your copy paste text that "you ban billions and billions of players per day" doesn't really do much for the players and community of this game.
How can we report straight through BE since there is no data to provide?
I need to go over the players lists from steam and hope to find a suspicious account there that MIGHT be a hacker, and then HOPE that BE will take any actions against it.
This whole thread is like benny hill episode I swear.
as a Serveradmin myself, i can tell you. players very often report a player to be a Hacker, which then turns out to not be a cheater...
Players often only have a limited view of what actualy happened and assume way to fast that it must have been a Cheater.
of course, that is not always the case.
Identifying a cheater (as a admin) without a doubt takes time to go through the logs and spectating of said player.
Now you gota consider, that there will always be more cheaters then there are developers. so there is no way in the world that the developers would be able to hunt down cheaters like we admins do.
they gota rely on anti cheat software like Battleeye, they gota try to fix loophole through which cheaters are able to cheat. but in the end, its a never ending uphill battle.
cheaters will always find new ways of cheating, and cheater will always be able to buy a new account and continue to cheat.
if you want better and more active protection, play on a community server. an admin is nothing else then a "trusted cheater". you trust him to not use his tools to use them to get an unfair advantage, and you trust him that he uses his tools to keep anyone else from using similar cheat tools... sometimes that trust might be betrayed, then just go and play on another server where you trust the admins the same way.
but you may or may not encounter cheaters on community servers aswell... as said, its a never ending uphill battle...
just like in real life... police is fighting criminals, but police will never be able to stop all crime. thats just not how the world works.
Tbh the hacker situation on official servers wont be fixed mate. Its just too complex of an issue. They already have an anti cheat system in place, there isnt anything more they can do tbh. It's not something they can just stop from happening... Simple solution is to just play community servers, you will probably never see another hacker if you find a good server to play.
