Are you using any software overlays and programs that generate them? Are all your software drivers up to date? Also, please check for any corrupted files on your computer and try to verify the game data through Steam (Make sure Steam Cloud Sync is disabled prior to doing so).

- I'm not using anything except steam and avast antivirus during my playing
- All drivers are updated ( Windows + Nvidia )
- All game files are ok ( I checked with steam integrity check )

I can recreate this by running the game fullscreen, tabbing out, waiting a few minutes (maybe go afk for 5-10 minutes), then tab back in. Windows 10 + Geforce GTX 3080, but I know the issue happens with other cards, as well, spanning several driver versions.
I cannot reproduce the issue when in Windowed mode.

My man, you are using Nvidia Filters, either for sharpening or any other feature
when those are enabled, it does extra rendering, thus if you alt tab from the game it blackscreens if you leave it without attention for more than 5 mins, forcing a restart.
unrelated really to cards, just Nvidia Freestyle game filters with dayz
disable your filter by choosing Off, and you'll see that you cannot crash freeze the game even if you'll try hard and leave it alt tabbed for 72 hours.
it'll be fresh good. filters are the issue
