Description

My mic works fine everywhere else except Arma 3, and DayZ. It shows im talking but no one can hear me. Ive checked all permissions and settings and volume levels. everything shows my mic is running fine. even when i check permissions it shows arma 3 has used my mic yet no one had heard me. ive updated drivers, reinstalled drivers, purchased a new headset..idk wtf to do anymore. ive searched google blogs for hours with no success

ive been through microsoft support, as well as xbox support, and was told to contact the game devs. please help.

Are you using a wired or bluetooth microphone?
Arma 3 has been known to cause some issues with bluetooth headsets.

im using a wired one. usb to be exact

any help would be greatly appreciated..getting annoyed with not being able to communicate verbally with other players in arma

Hi, unfortunately you haven’t posted any information about make and model of your headset, or anything that could help troubleshooting your issue.

It's an Asus ROG Strix Go headset.

You don't use mods such as TFAR and ACRE2 correct? They use Teamspeak.

I play in code four gaming servers. The only time I use mods is when I'm playing solo scenarios.
