BSOD crashing while playing Dayz
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Every time i play dayz i can play for about 5 minutes then my pc goes to the BSOD and my pc restarts. It gives me this description KMODE EXCEPTION NOT HANDLED - BEDaisy.sys. I've tried verifying my game files on steam and did not work. I deleted the battleye folder in my program files then verified my game files in steam and did not work. I tried the updated BEService_x64.exe file but this did not work. And tried uninstalling the game and reinstalling but this did not work either. Ive not long built my pc so its fresh and all my drivers and bios are up to date and ive checked all my hardware with no errors or faults. All my other games work ie XERA and CSGO etc. I have emailed battleye but after a week no response. Please help.

Hello CaptainClout.
For how long have you been experiencing this issue? Does it occur since a specific DayZ update or possibly a Windows update on your computer? Also, can you please send us the windows build number? (Start -> enter "winver")

Hi Geez

I have resolved the issue it was down to overclocking of my cpu and gpu i have set these back to standard settings and ive managed to play for two and a half hours straight.
But i now have the same issue with the black screen but i have added some content in the open case already reported on the matter.

Thanks

olly

@CaptainClout Black screen comes from a new bug introduced in 1.04. Turn off hardware AA or change resolution to lower and see if it's gone. There are already few reports on tracker regarding this issue.

Thank you for the update CaptainClout.
The issue with the black screen is known and related to the HWAA settings - the primary ticket can be found here https://feedback.bistudio.com/T141158. We also have notified BattlEye regarding to the issue you have experienced previously and they should be looking into it.
I will set this ticket as Resolved for now, but feel free to submit another one in case you run into any issues in the future.

Geez
