Haven't used to dupe but server hopping = max loot in less than 2 mins and if not unconscious, have been able to force quit, relog to diff server and retain character once before.
Tried with unconsciousness but state didn't change.

Just happened to me for the first time after about 11 hours played.
Yet to relog after alt+f4.
