If you die(not unconscious) and exit the game rather then respawn, you will be alive with all your stuff exactly where you died.
This is what's causing corpses to disappear, as soon as they exit, their corpse disappears.
You can dupe with this by having your friend shoot you then loot your corpse, when you log on you will have all the stuff you had before you died, and repeat.
When you die exit rather then respawn, simple, further detail in description. This shit worked everytime without a catch, I think it didn't work once when my friend went for a bit, I'd assume it saved him in his dead state.
(Unrelated, If you have a system ingame, players will exploit it and ruin the experience for all others, I.E combat logging/Loot Hopping.
I can see this getting abused to its limit. When people know of a exploit 90% of them will use that to their advantage.
Just happened... right after a guy ate 4 m4 shots and one hitted me with his fists and i came back at him. This should have a huge priority, since it will break the PvP mechanics COMPLETLY...
Haven't used to dupe but server hopping = max loot in less than 2 mins and if not unconscious, have been able to force quit, relog to diff server and retain character once before.
Tried with unconsciousness but state didn't change.
This is a duplicate report and the developers are already aware of this bug/problem.
Please check the feedback tracker to see if an issue exists before creating a new one and instead vote the original one up so the developers can see it's a common problem.
You can use the 'Filter' textbox to search through existing reports using a keyword.
