Could running the latest BETA video drivers from Nvidia cause the issue?

Only seems to happen if the UAV is crashed while driving on the ground? Once the UAV is fully airborne, nosediving it into the ground does not seem to trigger the behavior.
Update: Crashed UAV after it had loitered in the air for quite some time. I was then killed by friendlies.
