you might try avoidibg scavanging in high popular places, since it only respawns at server restart, many places have probably been looted

never had a problem finding water or food. you might want to search food and water NOT at the coast and not in hotspots, because those tend to be emptied pretty quick after a server restart. I don't know where I am recently, but I'm finding lots of food and soda.

okay guys, i have now heard it again. and then i turned around. and heard it cut off some times again then i found the source. (theres a shadow at night, where this sound comes from).

my best guess is: theres something below the terrain making these sounds.

here some screens i took from the 'shadow' also i don't see anything producing this shadow other than something below. i have searched for similar spots in the field nearby, nothing

edit: i tried to walk towards it, trying if it would hit me, but no.
also i tried to hit it through the floor, but it didn't work.
