@Mateuus - No. I lost interest in the project. It was a shame. This blocker issue caused my loss of interest. I found it extremely annoying BIS did not want to help me and treated this issue like I am some common idiot not worthy of using their API. Seriously, why not help me? I would only continue to support the game. Lol. Whatever. Not worth my time…

This happened on my server in the past couple of days on version 1.17.

Tanoa server just failed tonight and the game created dump files. Here are the dump and RPT files:
Dec 31 2016
It would appear this may have morphed into an internal application failure that does not "throw" any exception. I run two 24/7 Arma servers (Altis and Tanoa) that both intermittently fail as of the latest 1.66 patch.

This is still happening today.

I fixed this on my side. I zipped up the files instead of listing them separately and tested the download. It works now.
Will do as soon as I get a free moment.

OK. I will contact him for the crash dumps.

People tell me this happens to them all the time... So far my workaround insulated me from seeing this issue since I use my own tbbmalloc.dll and do not use the built in launcher. I was playing with a friend that had around 4 crashes just yesterday with a $6,000 gaming PC he just bought running 2 GTX 1080 cards. Please contact me if you need more repro crash dump examples.

I am able to work around this problem by this process...
*do not use Arma 3 native game launcher*
- Launch via steam with these parameters: -nolauncher -nosplash -skipintro -world=empty -noFilePatching -cpuCount=4 -maxMem=4096 -exThreads=7 -high -malloc=tbbmalloc -enableHT -mod=@Exile;@Ryanzombies
- Attempt to join target server
*download mpmission*
- It detects the server requires BattlEye and asks to enable BattlEye
*click YES and RESTART game*
- Rejoin the target server

How about sending some pseudo logic? At the time of writing this I have 1,019 hours in just Arma 3... I played Arma 2 easily that much, but realistically far more... I am also a DayZ SA player... I am loyal to BIS. I run two 24/7 Arma 3 servers. The launcher I am developing could only attract more players to Arma and help them connect to servers with weird mod configurations. Anything you can send to help me is appreciated. If you want to contact me directly, use the contact form at: http://moosemilker.com

Do you have some sample code on how to decode this?

Go public via Twitter. We need to call them out. https://twitter.com/masteraaronreed/status/682062087183441921
Note this repro example will also reproduce the OutOfMemoryException.
Go public via Twitter. Maybe we can bring more visibility to these issues there. https://twitter.com/masteraaronreed/status/682062087183441921
@stargatefreak - I read your notes... Your notes are useful, but not the only notes that matter. The OutOfMemoryException I wrote about on 2015-12-26 is different than the Access Violation I originally described when I opened this issue, but just as game breaking. No need to write snarky comments, which is easy to do across the internet (not face to face). Thanks.
I experimented with many tbbmalloc.dlls as well, and arrived at the same result.
For anyone reading this, BattlEye and RDP have nothing to do with Arma crashing.
I have a new running theory the OutOfMemoryException that also sometimes occurs could be related to using RDP on the target game server and/or running DART.EXE to manage the game. I have seen these error happen after the server has been running for a long time and one of those services are used.
@stargatefreak - In Windows, do you use a custom '-malloc=' launch parameter?

This happens for me consistently on A3BRANCH 107410.
Steps:
- On Windows 8.1 OS, run Arma 3 Server:
=====================================================================
== C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3 Server\arma3server.exe
== arma3server.exe "" "-mod=@Epoch;@EpochHive;" -profiles=C:\Arma3_Server\@Arma3Epoch2 -port=2542 -config=C:\Arma3_Server\@Arma3Epoch2\config.cfg -nosplash -skipintro -world=empty
- Player joins to game
- Player plays for a while (indeterminate amount of time)
- Player disconnects
- After 4 hours of server up-time, the server process is ended as a part of the regular recycle process, via this command:
C:\Windows\System32\taskkill /im arma3server.exe
Result: Windows 8 pop-up: Game crash / application exception.
